about the programme |

Programme funding The funding for the programme, as at June 2004, is made up of one third from GEF, and two thirds co-finance. Of this co-finance, half has already been identified from the Netherlands Government, as well as from other donors to IUCN – The World Conservation Union (including their Water and Nature Initiative) and MRC. Also included are government inputs in-kind and as parallel projects. One third of the total is still to be leveraged.
